PRO-XL is continuously emerging as a dynamic engineering firm, currently based in Kano of Northern Nigeria. The founder Engr. Ibrahim Abdulkadir Kawu B.Eng M.Sc (Civil) MNSE, conceived the idea back in 2008 naming it with the abbreviation PRO-XL out of curiosity for professionalism in the delivery of civil projects in Nigeria.

He chose the two words of his dreams to distinctly represent this Idea, the company name and value for our clients; "Professional" and "Excellence" are these two words which when combined, as in the company name "Professional Excellence" communicate a sense of limitless advancement in practice, application and quest for new methods and ideas, essential to harness all forms of resources, human, material, and financial, to derive optimum value for all the stakeholders in the construction industry.

With the help of his partner, Engr Ibrahim Umar Farouk B.Eng M.Sc (Elect) MNSE, PRO-XL is now able to diversify into providing full packaged engineering services to clients in the construction Industry.

The infinity symbol “∞” in our logo depict the infinite enthusiasm and passion of our company towards establishing the best standards of practice, as a means for sustainable development of our community, through involvement in the delivery and maintenance of civil infrastructure in our country and the globe at large. We believe it is first of its kind, from its conception, to its team of dynamic and innovative experts constantly in touch with highly skilled and experienced consultants and contractors in all services of the construction industry.
